What Badili Bongo is
Badili Bongo runs short programmes where children write their own stories, draw them, and record their own narration. Our studio animates each story in 3D around the children's own work, then screens the finished film publicly in their own community before publishing it on YouTube.
Some past students go on to paid internships with our studio.
Why it needs support
Every group so far has been funded personally by our director, Ibrahim Alibariki Jonathan, together with the design company. As the programme grows to reach more districts, that is no longer enough on its own. A contribution here goes directly toward workshop materials, making the animation, and the community screening at the end of each group's programme.

The pilot ran with twelve young artists, closing in a public exhibition on 14 September. Six of the finished films are public now.
